CHJ har i år inviteret tre pianister til Battle på Tango Y Vinos.! Der venter publikum en afvekslende spændende musikalsk oplevelse,når de tre pianister præsenterer deres musik, med to, fire og seks hænder på tangenterne!

CHJ has this year invited three pianists to Battle in Tango y Vinos. The audience can expect a varied and exciting musical experience when the three Pianists presenting their music, with two, four and six hands on the keys.

Maria Mitina

Maria Mitina er bedst kendt for sin kunstneriske originalitet og sin medfødte evne til at udtrykke sig rent musikalsk, samt et vidtfavnende repertoire, der spænder i genre lige fra jazz og rock til klassiske værker af mestre som Chopin og Debussy.

Boggie Lasse Jensen

Unge Lasse Jensen fra Ringsted er en fantastisk boogiepianist, der dyrker både den autentiske boogiestil, som den blev spillet af Albert Ammons, Meade Lux Lewis m.fl. i 30’erne, og så den lidt nyere stil, bl.a. repræsenteret ved Axel Zwingenberger.

Lasse har, trods sin unge alder, allerede flere gange været på programmet i internationale boogiefestivals i bl.a. England, Belgien og Tyskland.

Tom Skovgaard

Tom Skovgaard har altid dyrket den gamle ragtime, swing, boogie og stride “honky tonk” solo piano genre, og har samtidig spillet i jazzbands, i rockband og lejlighedsvis været almindelig barpianist. Repertoiret i ragtime og swing piano stilen omfatter Fats Waller, Jelly Roll Morton, Scott Joplin, James P. Johnson og en lang række traditionelle jazz- og swingnumre

Novablue Jazz trio September 18 at 17:00 hrs. Jazz er trioen's udgangspunkt, uanset om vi komponerer selv eller giver os i kast med andres materiale. Lyden er tilbagelænet, lækker og melodiøs.

Jazzin’ Jacks är ett av Sveriges mest etablerade band, bildat 1981. Stilen spänner från New Orleans till mainstream med en tyngdpunkt på Louis Armstrongs 40- och 50-tal. Jazzin’ Jacks spelar regelbundet i Sverige, Danmark och norra Tyskland och har turnerat även i Holland, England och Malaysia. USA har besökts 12 gånger, senast i Sacramento 2004.

Repertoiret er bl. a. Klassiska jazzmelodier, spirituals, blues, marches och love songs från 20-, 30- och 40-talen. Mycket sång.

BG Swing Quartet Malbec wines 17 Sep 19:30

BG Swing Quartet

Man oplever høj swing-energi, kreative og musikalske soloer, i de jazzarrangementer BG. Swing Quartet disker op med.

Den Fynske kvartet fortolker "The King of Swing" Benny Goodmans små grupper, fra Den Gyldne Swingtid i 30-40erne, Jazz-evergreens der behager ørene og går lige i fødderne.

De tre vokalister, afveksler med en medrivende jazz-sang og Dennis Christiansen får med sin klarinet, skubbet musikken godt ud over scenekanten.

Kvartetten kan udvides med "Jyllands Lionel Hampton" Jens Olesen på vibrafon.

Mange jazzfestivaler, Jazzklubber og festarrangører har glædet sig over kvartettens opløftende koncerter.

"The King of Swing, have never left his fans" ..............det vil disse fire herrer gøre alt for:

Dennis Christiansen, "Den Fynske Benny Goodman" der spiller sin klarinet med nerve og swing, som var det den ægte Goodman.

Lars Lavendt, der med sine kreative guitarsoloer og fyldige rytmer, får en til at tænke på guitaristen Charlie Christian, som var Goodmans fortrukne.

Kurt "Krupa" Christensen, der "næsten tror" at han er Gene Krupa, Goodmans berømte trommeslager, (tag ikke fornøjelsen fra ham).

Jesper Heinrich, der med sit iørefaldende basspil, også er stilskaber med sin scatsang oven i bassoloerne, Goodmans bassist Slam Steward, ville elske det!

Brazilian Music and Argentinean wines. Københavns vinbar bring it on. Vinbar Tango y Vinos located in the heart of Copenhagen is proud to present the Brazilian artist Luiz Mura. A night with a south American touch and Argentinske vine! Come along and get pure malbec blood in a glass meanwhile the tunes from Brasil.

Graduated em music composition in the university Santa Marcelina in São Paulo, the singer, composer, songwriter, guitarist, percussionist and flutist Luiz Murá creates brazilian popular music, in a direction that keep the rhythm and melodies of the many brazilian traditions such the samba, maracatu, xote, baião and the brazilian Native Indian

music.

His biggest influences are Tom Jobim, Djavan and João Bosco, and he studied with Arrigo Barnabé and Sérgio santos.

He performed in many music festivals and contests in Brazil including 1st. place in the IBF (independent band festival of São Paulo, 2005), Barueri (FEMUPO 2007), Itapetininga and Fasmúsica (2007), and got 2nd place and best performance in the music festival of São Miguel Arcanjo (2008).

In 2007 won the music award from the department of culture of São Paulo “Prêmio Estímulos Música – 2007”. With this award he recorded his first album called “Juquehy” in the brasilian native Indians language means “singing sands”. Participated from this album a lot of well known musicians as the bassist Sylvio Mazzuca (Maria Rita), the

percussionist Guello (Zizi Possi and Banda Mantiqueira), Guilherme Kastrup (Luiz Tatit, Vanessa da Mata, Miguel Wisnik) and Ubaldo Versolato (Banda Mantiqueira, Fábio Jr., Tom Jobim. The disc has made a very good success indicated in a very famous Tv show in Brazil , “Domingão do Faustão”, and Luiz made a lot of concerts including many jazz and theaters bars in São Palo like “ao vivo music” Sesc Pinheiros

Formado em composição e regência pela facudade santa marcelina, o cantor ecompositor Luiz Murá faz música popular brasileira, em uma direção que valoriza osritmos e etnias das diversas tradições culturas como o samba, o maracatu, o xote, o baiãoe a música indígena nas suas diversas e variadas formas. Muito influenciado por Tom jobim, Djavan e João Bosco, foi aluno de Eduardo Gudin, Arrigo Barnabé, Sérgio Santos e do mestre no shakuhachi (flauta japonesa) Tsuna Iwami.

Participou de diversos festivais de música incluindo primeiro lugar no FBI(festival de bandas independents de São Paulo, 2005), finalista de três festivais de canção, Barueri, Itapetiniga e Fasmúsica em 2007 e segundo lugar incluindo melhor intérprete no festival de São Miguel Arcanjo (2008).

Em 2007 foi um dos selecionados pelo Prêmio Estímulos Música realizado pela Secretaria de Cultura do Estado de São Paulo, o que possibilitou a gravação do seu primeiro disco, parceria com a distribuidora Tratore, na qual vende para todo o país e exterior. O disco foi lançado em dezembro de 2008 e contou com a participação de diversos musicos muito bem conceituados como os percussionistas Guello e Guilherme Kastrup (Banda Mantiqueira, Zizi Possi, Vanessa da Mata, Luiz Tatit), o baixista Sylvio Mazzuca (Maria Rita) e o quarteto de cordas camerata estúdios com músicos russos da

OSESP.

Desde então seu disco tem dado muitos frutos incluindo uma indicação no programa do Faustão e shows em diversos teatros de São Paulo como o Sesc Pinheiros
