Pandora er et nytopstartet projekt med den 27 årige guitarist Jesper Christiansen som ankermand.
Denne trio konstellation åbner op for kreativ leg med metrik, fri improvisation, up tempo drive og stærke melodier.
Musikkens inspiration bevæger sig helt fra John Coltrane til Ennio Morricone i et lyrisk udtryk af spilleglæde & nerve.

´Pandora´ is a newly started projekt of the 27 year old guitarist Jesper Christiansen. This trio constellation will play their way through odd meters, up tempo drive and beautiful ballads.
The tast of strong bluesy melody combined with the inspiration of great artists such as John Coltrane and Ennio Morricone will leave a personal expression of energy and imagination.

Mads Kjølby making a 'Detour' in your life
Mads Kjølby presents Detour, der er en opfølger til den anmelderroste plade "U Turn" fra 2007.
Musikken er original jazzmusik og bevæger sig fra swingende grooves til akustiske ballader men altid med den gode melodi i centrum.
Mads Kjølby har siden udgivelsen af sin forrige plade turneret flittigt med sin kvartet. Senest har de været på en 2-uger lang turné i Rusland, hvor gruppen spillede i fyldte koncertsale fra Kursk til Skt. Petersborg. Det er derfor et meget sammenspillet orkester der spiller musik fra den nyeste udgivelse på Tango y Vinos malbec vinbar onsdag d.3.feb. kl 20.

Mads Kjølby releases his second album as a leader, Detour, on the 3rd of february. The record is a follow-up to his critically acclaimed album from 2007, U Turn.
The music is young and fresh and is original compositions spiced up with a jazzy take on the Beach Boys classic, God Only Knows.
Mads Kjølby's quartet has been performing regularly since the previous release. Recently they have been on a 2-week tour in Russia where they performed all over the country in sold-out concerthalls.
